La parte norte de la unidad se corresponde con una densa estructura monta\u00f1osa que se sit\u00faa, mayorit\u00e1riamente, entre los 500 y los 1.000 m de elevaci\u00f3n, con una pendiente media cercada al 30%<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s un territorio de vocaci\u00f3n claramente forestal, con escasas limitaciones para el crecimiento del arbolado, donde destaca el color verde de los pinos, que forma un manto a menudo continuo interrumpido \u00fanicamente por rocas que, en algunos puntos, se presentan muy compactas y formando riscos. Est\u00e1 formada por un conjunto de sierras y colinas calc\u00e1reos de aspecto \u00e1spero, va ascendiendo de altitud en diagonal, desde el suroeste hasta la parte central de la unidad, y culmina en la parte norte con la Talaia, situada a 861 metros. Dentro, cabe distinguir entre el \u00e1rea correspondiente a los bosques (32%) y la que se atribuye a los bosquines y prados (38%).<\/p>\n<p>Al oeste del Llobregat hay un dominio bastante abrumador del bosque de escler\u00f3filos, espec\u00edficamente de alcornocales o bosques mixtos de alcornoques y enzimas. Al norte, entre la intersecci\u00f3n de los relieves prepirenaicos y la llanura ondulada por donde transcurre el Llobregat, encontramos Berga.<\/p>\n<p>La vegetaci\u00f3n actual encuentra su expresi\u00f3n en laderas con fuerte inclinaci\u00f3n, alturas y en desfiladeros estrechos y escarpados. Cabe destacar, por un lado, las formaciones boscosas m\u00e1s monta\u00f1as, donde robledales y pinares de pino silvestre gozan de una importante presencia y buen estado de conservaci\u00f3n. La caracter\u00edstica silueta del macizo del Pedraforca da car\u00e1cter a la unidad.<\/p>\n<p>El 69,2% est\u00e1 cubierto por bosques, producto del gran n\u00famero de sierras y monta\u00f1as que lo forman. En su vertiente se pueden encontrar acantilados, mientras que en el norte el relieve es m\u00e1s suave. Se encuentran ocupadas fundamentalmente por una cubierta forestal dominada por pinares, malezas y matorrales de reconstituci\u00f3n del carrascal o encinar, que globalmente ocupan un 77% de la superficie de la unidad. Tambi\u00e9n destacan los afloramientos de pe\u00f1as calizas o dolom\u00edticas y algunas urbanizaciones que se sit\u00faan en las Forma part de la reserva biogen\u00e8tica natural Pian Parrocchia-Campo di Mezzo, creada el 1977.<\/p>\n<p>El bosque, con el haya (<em>Fagus sylvatica<\/em>) como especie dominante, cubre un \u00e1rea de 667 ha que se incluye \u00edntegramente en las zonas de protecci\u00f3n especial (ZPE, 79\/409\/CEE) y los lugares de importancia comunitaria (LIC, 92\/43\/CEE). Desde 1996 el bosque tambi\u00e9n acoge un punto de la red italiana de vigilancia del ecosistema forestal (CONECOFOR), que forma parte del (PCE Bosques) de la Comisi\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica para Europa de las Naciones Unidas\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.icpforest.org\/\">http:\/\/www.icpforest.org<\/a>), que, entre los a\u00f1os 2009 y 2010, fue supervisada a trav\u00e9s del proyecto LIFE+ FutMon (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.futmon.org\/\">http:\/\/www.futmon.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>En el bosque hay una larga tradici\u00f3n de gesti\u00f3n forestal: las reglas fundamentales que se aplican s\u00f3n\u00a0<em>clareo moderado desde abajo<\/em>\u00a0o\u00a0<em>clara mixto<\/em>, cada 20 a\u00f1os, mientras que la regeneraci\u00f3n del rodal se realiza con el sistema de<\/p>\n<p>Al bosc hi ha una llarga tradici\u00f3 de gesti\u00f3 forestal: les regles fonamentals que s\u2019apliquen s\u00f3n\u00a0<em>clara moderada por lo bajo\u00a0<\/em>o\u00a0<em>aclarida mixta<\/em>, cada 20 anys, mentre que la regeneraci\u00f3 del rodal es fa amb el sistema de clara sucesiva. En general, en cada intervenci\u00f3n se extraen entre\u00a0700 y 1.000\u00a0m<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0de bosque, una superficie de m\u00e1s de 10 o 15\u00a0ha. El Ufficcio Territoriale Carabinieri per la Biodiversit\u00e0 (UTCB) de Vittorio Veneto se encarga de la gesti\u00f3n forestal.<\/p>\n<h3>Descripci\u00f3n del \u00e1rea de <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips0'>prueba<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>La zona experimental seleccionada para el LIFE+ CLIMARK se encuentra en un hayedo de entre 120 y 145 a\u00f1os, a una altitud que va de los 1.100 a los 1.200 m sobre el nivel del mar. Actualmente, la edad de tala final tiende hacia una edad de rodal indefinida, para ajustarse a las nuevas actuaciones recreativas, paisaj\u00edsticas y de mitigaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico. Los par\u00e1metros del lugar (elevaci\u00f3n, ubicaci\u00f3n, suelo, cantidad y distribuci\u00f3n de las precipitaciones) son \u00f3ptimos para el crecimiento de las hayas y estas condiciones contribuyen a prolongar el tiempo de permanencia de los \u00e1rboles en pie (durada de rotaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p>Se dedic\u00f3 un \u00e1rea de 35 ha dividida en nueve parcelas (mas una) a los ensayos de gesti\u00f3n del proyecto LIFE+ManFor C.BD. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.manfor.eu\/\">www.manfor.eu<\/a>). Se identificaron tres opciones, que fueron asignadas de forma aleatoria a tres r\u00e9plicas de las parcelas (de la 1 a la 9). Se defini\u00f3 un grupo de tres terrenos de muestreo circular permanente dentro de cada parcela, de acuerdo con un dise\u00f1o sistem\u00e1tico para estudiar los par\u00e1metros de medici\u00f3n (especie, DAP, altura, ubicaci\u00f3n del \u00e1rbol, categor\u00eda social, proyecciones de la copa, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Las tres opciones de gesti\u00f3n propuestas por el Cansiglio fueron las siguientes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Tradicional (local):<\/strong> gesti\u00f3n tradicional, que consiste en la\u00a0<em>clara por lo bajo<\/em>\u00a0o\u00a0<em>clara mixta<\/em>, mientras que la regeneraci\u00f3n del rodal se realiza con el sistema de clara sucesiva. El personal de UTBC fue el encargado de la selecci\u00f3n de los \u00e1rboles siguiendo las indicaciones de los trabajadores del proyecto\u00a0LIFE+ManFor C.BD.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovadora:<\/strong> consiste en identificar un n\u00famero indeterminado de \u00e1rboles dispersos y en buen estado (que suelen pertenecer a las categor\u00edas sociales predominante\/dominante) y clarear la copa, el tronco y las ra\u00edces de los \u00e1rboles seleccionados.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intervenci\u00f3n diferida:<\/strong> existen motivos para probar la intervenci\u00f3n diferida en una etapa posterior a la del contexto de la gesti\u00f3n forestal del hayedo por su amplia aplicaci\u00f3n en Italia (por ejemplo, los parques y las reservas nacionales).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Se ha definido otra \u00e1rea (sin r\u00e9plica) para crear la primera\u00a0\u00abparcela de envejecimiento\u00bb (literalmente del franc\u00e9s\u00a0<em>\u00eelot de s\u00e9nescence<\/em>). La zona de Lorenzago di Cadore forma parte de una de las zonas de protecci\u00f3n especial mas extensas de los Alpes (ZPE IT3230089 \u00abDolomites de Cadore i Comelico\u00bb) y contiene dos lugares de importancia comunitaria (LIC, 92\/43\/CEE). Los bosques de Lorenzago han obtenido el certificado PEFC para la gesti\u00f3n forestal sostenible.<\/li>\n<h3>Descripci\u00f3n del \u00e1rea de ensayo<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<p>El sitio seleccionado en el proyecto LIFE+ManFor C.BD. se encuentra en un bosque mixto de con\u00edferas (abeto com\u00fan, 51%; p\u00edcea com\u00fan, 46%; alerce europeo, 2%, haya, 1%) de edades diferentes, situado entre 925 y 1.220 m\u00a0 sobre el nivel del mar y gestionado tradicionamente mediante\u00a0el\u00a0<em>sistema de selecci\u00f3n<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/li>\n<p>Los ensayos de gesti\u00f3n forestal se realizaron en 25 hect\u00e1reas y se publicaron dos opciones de gesti\u00f3n diferentes, que se exponen a continuaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ol><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tradicional (local):<\/strong> cada n a\u00f1os la pr\u00e1ctica incluye, simult\u00e1neamente: i) el arrastre de los \u00e1rboles madures; ii) la clara de nivel intermedio; iii) la tala progresiva de los lados alrededor de las parcelas de regeneraci\u00f3n definidas para favorecer el crecimiento adecuado; iv) la tala de los troncos defectuosos y la destrucci\u00f3n completa de los \u00e1rboles. El sistema de transporte con caballos que se utilizaba en el pasado permit\u00eda arrastrar los \u00e1rboles maduros dispersos con frecuencia; hoy en d\u00eda el uso de tractores facilita el arrastre, pero de alguna forma es necesario concentrar las talas en el suelo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovadora:<\/strong> actualmente el arrastre de unos cuantos \u00e1rboles madures y la clara de los \u00e1rboles de dimensiones intermedias se organiza en grupos peque\u00f1os y permite intervenciones m\u00ednimas gracias a la cosecha mecanizada. Las pr\u00e1cticas innovadoras se han aplicado a menudo abriendo v\u00edas de deforestaci\u00f3n con una longitud de 60 m (1\u00bd altura m\u00e1xima) y una anchura de 20\u00a0m (\u00bd altura m\u00e1xima). Estas \u00abclaras ligeras\u00bb tienen una orientaci\u00f3n NO-SE. Se favorecen los \u00e1rboles de hoja grande y la regeneraci\u00f3n joven en las v\u00edas y, a continuaci\u00f3n, se liberan.
